ARMAT by Alba Racing CanAm X3 Oil Catch Can

Our ARMAT catch cans for all CanAm X3's are dual baffle and fully chambered giving you the best crankcase ventilation and convenience on the market. Your factory breather recirculates crankcase pressure back into the intake along with vaporized engine oil, moisture and other combustion byproducts that all contaminate your X3's intake/air that your turbo needs to make power. The mix of Oil and moisture soaks your turbos compressor wheel, intercooler and intake valves robbing your of HP and IAT cooling. It can also affect AFR, lowering the overall octane of your fuel. Oil also has a lower "knock" threshold vs 91 octane fuel. So introducing oil into the intake source on your X3 lowers the effectiveness of your factory knock protection system.

It is designed to mount directly onto the cage of your X3 (See photos), and uses the factory 3/4" breather hose. The factory 3/4" hose attaches to a 12-AN fitting on the side of the can. The AN fitting can be removed quick and easy to service. There is also quick drain valve on the bottom of the unit. It is a painless installation with no specialty tools required and it is easy to maintain once installed.
