Yamaha Viking ECU Re-flash

This ECU Re-flash is great for all types of riding/racing. We have developed a dyno proven performance ignition timing curve as well as fuel curve specific for the Yamaha Viking. These are very reliable curves (We specialize in desert-racing and we lean on the side of caution when it comes to tuning). In this flash we fix the lean spots in the fuel map the factory has for emissions. The advanced timing curve is also built to utilize 91+ oct fuel. The engine also will run cooler under the richer AFR conditions.

Cooling

We also lower the radiator fan activation temperatures, allowing the fan cooling system to engage sooner, helping keep the engine running cooler during hard riding, racing, and other high-load conditions.

Power

An ECU Re-flash is a great way to pick up horsepower, drivability and reliability. For starters, they are extremely LEAN from the factory. The factory calibration is designed around emissions requirements and can run lean in certain areas of the fuel map. Our ECU Re-Flash corrects these lean areas by optimizing the air/fuel ratio for improved engine performance and temperature management across a wide range of riding conditions. This flash delivers a +3HP increase at the wheels, +5HP at the flywheel. It's a noticeable gain in power!

Fuel

The optimized ignition timing curve is designed to take advantage of 91+ octane fuel, allowing the engine to safely deliver additional performance. The improved fueling can also help reduce engine operating temperatures under demanding conditions.

Proven Performance & Reliability

We use the most advance equipment available to build our ecu maps and do a large amount of testing in the field. We develop these maps on our top-of-the-line Dynojet dyno as well as our Axis dyno specifically designed by for UTV testing. They both can load the vehicle for testing in ALL load conditions. These are side by side specific dynos. They are the only specific SXS dyno in the world. What makes it different than other dyno's. They have the ability to tune with a CVT clutch to simulate real world load. No other dyno can do this.

We Data Log hundreds of miles of use using state of the art knock, injector duty cycle, air fuel ratio, boost, and EGT monitors to ensure everything is safe. After the dyno and “ In the field testing”, we tear down the test engines to look for accelerated wear, to ensure long term longevity.

As far as reliability goes, we are the Kings. Our Engines and Tunes dominate endurance racing. Our Tunes/Engines as teams won both turbo and naturally aspirated classes many years in a row now in S.C.O.R.E. series. This includes 1700 miles of wide-open racing per season through the toughest terrain in the world.
