The factory clutch in the YXZ 1000 is poorly designed using 1 conical spring. Manufactures have been doing this for years as is is very inexpensive to produce. This does not put enough pressure on the clutch pack and allows the plates to slip and burn up. Our 6 spring kit applies much more even pressure. Your pedal effort will be about 20% stiffer depending on hp level. Our clutch drives just like stock but engages smoother allowing easier stop and go. We use this clutch kit on our 400hp engine package with zero failed using huge 30" Skat Track Ripper paddle tires and multiple very high rpm launches at full boost using launch control. This kit is extremely tough. This kit works with any setup from stock to 400+hp. Don't get left stranded with a burnt clutch replace it before it happens.

This clutch has now been used hard in many desert endurance race YXZ's, short course YXZ's, full blown drag YXZ's on street slicks and by hundreds of our customers. We have pushed the YXZ platform harder than anyone We have never had one fail. We have customers pushing over 400hp using launch control to launch with full boost on huge paddles and drag slicks. Pretty hard to be tougher on a clutch than this. Many ask us about the clutch oil mod available. We feel it is not needed as our racers can not burn up the 6 spring conversion no matter how hard we push it. We have dissembled many and never seen any signs of a lack of oil. Save the money. This clutch is all you need for a reliable clutch.

I bought this kit while I had the transmission out to do the GYTR 70/30 gear reduction. It is a high quality system and I am very happy with it. Installation was simple. The components are very well made. The clutch discs have a substantially greater amount of friction material on them than the stock ones. It works superbly. I like the pedal feel and am now totally confident in my YXZ's clutching.

I highly recommend this product.

I installed clutch put 700 miles on it . Pull disk out check wear was almost like new still . Great feel gives great confidence a must have for yxz pull around in higher gear with extra clamping force . Only feed back I would give put on instruction line disk up with triangle marking and turn last disk place in the circle marked slot .
